The legislative process is never-ending. In a single 90 day period beginning in January each year, thousands of bills are considered by Maryland's General Assembly. This legislation now affects more businesses than in the past. When choosing a lobbyist, consider what is at risk; the passage (or defeat) of a particular piece of legislation could spell failure (or success) for your business or organization. Understanding your business is as important as understanding the oft times confusing legislative process.
Our legislative activities with the Maryland General Assembly involve much more than providing valuable information to, and on behalf of, our clients. Our main role is to actively advocate for our clients on issues that come before the General Assembly. We also participate actively in agency and legislative studies and advocacy throughout the year. The following are clients of this office for the 2007 legislative session in Annapolis.
